Friday Follow (3)

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event where bloggers and readers can find new blogs to follow. It's a neat idea for new bloggers (very much like myself) because it helps them connect with other bloggers and it gives them an opportunity to find blogs similar to theirs. I'm really excited about participating in this! If you're interested, go over to Crazy for Books :)

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

  1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host { Parajunkee.com } and any one else you want to follow on the list
  2. Follow our Featured Bloggers - www.onceuponachapter.com
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  7. If you want to show the link list, just follow the link below the entries and copy and paste it within your post!
This week's book blogger hop topic is your favorite new-to-you author. I'm not entirely sure if she counts since I first heard about her years ago, but I only recently started reaading Laurie Halse Anderson's books, and I fell head-over-heels in love with her writing. Her novels tackle issues so relevant to teenagers nowadays, and they're inspiring and honest and beautifully written. They're thoguht-provoking and deep, but they're not too intimidating to be read by reluctant readers. She's simply wonderful!

  32. Hopping by to return the visit! I love your post on the favorite summer romances--I've only read Meg Cabot's adult chick lit, and I've been meaning to get to her YA, and Jen Echols has been on my TBR since forever--everyone says she's great for light romance. You've given me some good ideas!

  36. And the HOP is still ON ... Sunday is when friends visit and offer tall glasses of sweet tea while sitting in the swing on the front porch. Except right now in Georgia we are in a heat-wave with over 100 degree temperatures. So we have re-treated inside in the AC and watching NASCAR.

Greetings from Tresa via the HOP!
